The Smart Slot B is a specialized reader for use with a Bioscrypt fingerprint module. The Bioscrypt module is connected directly to the Smart Slot B, in order to provide an access system where both a fingerprint and a barcode card are required for entry. Enrollment for the Bioscrypt is performed by the Smart Slot B. A valid read occurs only when both a valid barcode card and a valid matching fingerprint is scanned. The Smart Slot B can be inserted into any current barcode system in order to add biometrics to the system.
