"716 and 718" Series Data Converter 

716/718 

The 716 and 718 series Data Converters are universal user-programmable converters, converting the following formats: magstripe track 1, magstripe track 2, wiegand, alphanumeric wiegand, aba wiegand, wand emulation, f2f, rs232 serial, and USB. The 716 and 718 converters are housed in a small package making it an ideal choice for inclusion in oem equipment.



 

"716R and 718R" Serial Operated Relay and Data Converter 

716R/718R 

The 716R and 718R series combine the operation of a Serial Operated Relay along with a single input data conversion function. The 716R and 718R internal relay can be controlled by using serial commands sent from a pc. The reader input supports both wiegand (prox) and magnetic stripe readers. Reader data can be converted to serial (rs232 or usb), with the same conversion functionality available in the 716 and 718 data converters. The model 718R which is the usb version is user configurable to convert wiegand/mag input data to usb, or convert usb to wiegand/aba/f2f.




"701" Series Data Converters 

701 

The 701 series Data Converters are custom data converters built to the customer's specifications. The 701 converters can convert wiegand, aba, wand emulation, rs232, and rs422 to wiegand, aba, rs232, rs422, or wand emulation. The 701 converters are housed in the same housing as our swipe readers.

701 converters also can be used as "front ends" into an IBC system. For example, if you need to network a number of wiegand readers into an IBC network, a 701 convertor which converts wiegand to rs422 can be used.

"705" Series Data Converters 

705 
The 705 series Data Converters convert one data format to another, and are pre-programmed. Models for most of the widely used conversions are available, such as wiegand to rs232, and aba to wiegand. These converters are housed in a small "gender changer"  package, with a DB25 female on one side and a DB25 male on the other side. They can be powered with either 5VDC or 8VDC-30VDC. An optional screw terminal connector is also available.
