The 805 reader is a miniature insert reader for reading magnetic stripe cards, used exclusively for door entry. This reader is only 1" in depth and is meant to be placed in door jams. Special magnetic stripe cards are required with the reader since the reader reads only the last 1" of the card. Output from the 805 reader is undecoded magnetic stripe, which can connect to the IBC 805-R decoder board. This board is a special board which mounts directly to a ROFU electric strike, and controls the strike with an onboard relay. The 805-R is programmable to allow entry to one specific card number only, or to multiple numbers for hotel and commercial access. Please note this product is OEM only.
