The 8000 is a single-door controller available with rs232, rs422, usb, tcp, and tcp with POE (power over ethernet). POE versions of the controller can also power a door strike or maglock directly using the power supplied over the ethernet line, up to a maximum of 500ma. With POE, no power supply is required for installation. The 8000 controller supports barcode, magstripe, and proximity readers and can run in an online or stand-alone mode. In the stand-alone mode, up to 30000 unique id numbers can be stored. The 8000 also includes an audit trail, a request to exit feature, and door sense (open/close) logic. Perfect for use in Access Control and Time and Attendance applications.
